Using RSS

First you must install an RSS reader, then simply copy and paste the address of the RSS feed that you want to subscribe to (for instance Regent College) into the reader. In order to permanently add this address to your RSS feeds, you usually have to configure the reader to subscribe to the feed.

If you use Microsoft Windows SharpReader is a good RSS reader.
This program is freeware and allows one to use Safe RSS feeds.

What information will I receive?

Every time a new news item is added to the Regent College page, you will receive a new news RSS with the headline of the news item and a link to the full text.

The time difference between the publiction of information on the site and when you receive the title on your computer depends on the frequency that your reader checks for new RSS feeds. In SharpReader, the shortest period is 15 minutes, which means that the headline will arrive at your computer by the latest 15 minutes after it is published on the site.
